Symptoms of a clogged drain field. Septic tank failure is coming.

You probably already know this, but these are some things to look for that indicate your drain field is clogged with bio-mat.

You can suspect the problem is the drainfield if:

  1. There are wet spots and persistent odors in your yard or over the drainfield

  2. Drains are slow or wastewater backs up into the house in toilets and drains
    when it’s  used
    heavily, or during wet months

  3. Problems continue even though the tank has been pumped recently and the  plumbing  backs-up again shortly thereafter.

Proline's Septic Saver is easy to install

Installation Instructions

Septic Saver is designed to be inserted in an existing or new conventional septic tank. When placed in a septic system that is showing signs of blockage, the Septic Saver will provide oxygenated effluent to the leach field, thus allowing aerobic bacteria growth. This will allow the field to open up within just a few weeks provided the leach field problem is caused by bio-mat and not tree root blockage.

A failing septic system is hazardous to your family's health.

A properly functioning septic system has almost zero chance of contaminating your immediate environment. If your soil is clogged, contaminants containing infectious viruses and bacteria can travel by gravity an amazing distance from your property, contaminating neighboring land, air and water. Faulty septic systems carry with it over 500 different disease causing viruses and bacteria! Your property and well water and surrounding streams and ponds are at risk of contamination and most importantly you, your friends and your kids or grandkids!

If your system is backing up into your house or leaving standing water in your yard, you have a mini health hazard right in your yard! You really need to do SOMETHING QUICK!

There are many alternatives for treating the symptoms but fewer that can actually fix a failing drain field without digging.
